Ancient Sanctuaries of Solan

Shoolini Temple
Dedicated to Goddess Shoolini, an incarnation of Goddess Durga, this temple is one of the प्रमुख religious centres of the district. The annual Shoolini Fair is a major cultural event attracting large numbers of devotees and tourists.
Jatoli Temple
Jatoli Temple is considered one of the tallest Shiva temples in Asia. The temple complex features a large statue of Lord Shiva and a cave shrine housing a Shivling. It is believed that Lord Shiva once rested at this site.
Jakholi Devi Temple
Also known as Bhadra Kali Temple, this shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhadra Kali and is located about 5 kilometres from Solan town. The temple follows the traditional Shikhara style of North Indian temple architecture.
Menri Monastery
Menri Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in India and an important centre of the Bon tradition of Buddhism. It is known for its vibrant cultural practices, including Cham dance performances during festivals.
Mohan Heritage National Park
