Manali

A globally renowned tourist destination, Manali is known for its natural beauty, including forests, streams, orchards, and snow-capped mountains. It also serves as the starting point of an ancient trade route connecting Lahaul, Ladakh, and beyond. The town is associated with Sage Manu, and the Manu Temple stands as an important religious site.

Rohtang Pass

Located at an altitude of approximately 3,978 metres, Rohtang Pass has historically served as a vital trade route linking Kullu with Lahaul, Ladakh, and Central Asia. The Beas River originates near this pass.

Naggar

Situated on the left bank of the Beas River, Naggar was once the capital of the Kullu kingdom. The Naggar Castle, now converted into a heritage hotel, offers panoramic views of the valley. The area is also associated with the Roerich Art Gallery.

Vashisht

A village near Manali, Vashisht is famous for its natural hot sulphur springs and the ancient temple dedicated to Sage Vashisht. The springs are believed to have therapeutic properties.

Manikaran

Located in the Parbati Valley at an altitude of about 1,829 metres, Manikaran is renowned for its hot springs. It is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Sikhs due to the presence of temples and a Gurudwara. The site is associated with legends of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
